Some
of you may not be aware of what physical therapists have to offer when
it comes to your painful low backs, necks or other body parts that have
been abused over the years and have decided to tell you, “stop what
you're doing.” For those of you who have had physical therapy,
please continue reading. Despite the fact that you may have some
knowledge of this work, you may have had a bad experience with a P.T.,
or you might actually be one…it doesn't matter. We’re not all
alike. Many therapists tend to focus on one thing (i.e. nerves,
joints, or muscles) and utilize a single approach to resolve every
individual's dysfunction. However, I believe that each body
responds differently to each type of treatment
available. Based on this belief I have adopted the
philosophy that a variety of techniques must be used in order to
simultaneously facilitate effective rehabilitation of joints, muscles
and nerves. If any one of these anatomical structures is
traumatized, it will affect the function of the entire musculoskeletal
system. Therefore, I treat the whole body through
manual therapy—hands-on care. I advocate therapeutic
exercise and give proper instruction in performing exercise; however,
it's your job to do the follow-up work.
Thank
you so very much for taking the time to visit my website. I do
hope that after browsing through the information provided, you will
contact me to schedule a session.
